Hello, my name is Cortney Fetherkile. Today, I am a full-time stay-at-home mother and LuLaRoe Fashion Consultant.
However, I wasn't always a stay-at-home mother. I had BIG dreams and a PASSION for the medical field. In 2010, I graduated from nursing school pregnant with our first son. Cruz was born in 2011 and brought so much joy and happiness into our home, but in 2013 Cruz was diagnosed with Heart Failure and life-flighted to St. Louis Children's Hospital. I quit my career and moved to St. Louis to be with Cruz. After 5 months of living in a hospital room, we received the "call." July 20, 2013, I kissed our son and watched the operating room doors close behind him. After the longest 12 hours of my life, I received the news that his heart transplant was successful and I could see our son again!
Cruz, now 6, requires around the clock care. Having a child with special needs is demanding yet rewarding work. I decided nursing was no longer for me because I wanted to dedicate all my energy and focus towards our son. Being a stay at home mother and caring for Cruz, I needed something for me. I LOVE learning, therefore took online classes and graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Management. I will probably never use either degrees, but am proud of myself for completing a goal I dreamed of since I was a little girl.
Once school was completed, I continued to care for our son and stay home. However, I felt as though I was not applying the gifts God entrusted me with to their full potential. I love caring for others and making people feel beautiful. I was first introduced to LuLaRoe by a friend of mine. She will never know how much she inspired me by watching her care for her special needs son, run her own business, and manage to do everything a mother and wife does daily. Today, I know she is a blessing from God. I needed a friend who understood the daily struggles of special needs parenting and I am blessed and honored to join her team.

I love serving and blessing others. Witnessing others transform with confidence brings me joy and happiness. Every person has their own unique style. The BEST and most rewarding part about being a fashion consultant is meeting amazing people and learning from each of them.
